Tips

Keep your shoes tight and your pants up. Can't win a fight with your pants sagging around your ass. Keeping your finger nails short too is a major factor. Practice throwing punches at a mirror or looking at an object. Make sure your far enough away that you dont strike the object cause then you will either damage yourself or somebody else without meaning too.

Visualize

Visualize your opponent. See their weaknesses by the way they move and carry themselves. Use these weaknesses to your advantage. Know your strength and how to use it. Work out everyday and gain strength. Strength, height, and weight doesn't matter who wins the fight but it sure helps. Experience is how you win. In a fight you cannot see the whole picture. You must feel your opponent. Don't take your eyes off him but when your getting hit and can't see, think where he is and strike. Fighting is an art but also a way of defense.

Keep eyes on opponent.

Never look down! Your eyes should always be on the other person. Looking at the ground in a fight is going to end badly for you. It is like driving a car. Look where you want to go. It is all about hand eye coordination. Even when your on the ground, you have to remain alert. All fights eventually end up on the ground. I can explain how to strike within 5 minutes but the wrestling aspect of fighting is very complicated. It's all about how you use leverage. And remember that in a fight one of you must go down. I'm not going down.

Here is a link to a cool video I leave you with:
